WATERBURY – Michael Connelly has been arrested for the fourth time. The former Judicial Marshal turned himself into State Police in Southbury Thursday morning.

Connelly, 53, of Sharon Road is charged with trafficking, three counts of impersonation of a police officer, and three counts of coercion.

This is the Connelly’s fourth arrest by State Police since 2014.  The charges stem from a lengthy investigation into allegations of criminal misconduct dating back to 2013.

He was arrested twice in December 2014, once for promoting prostitution and once for stealing from a Stop & Shop.

Connelly is being held on a $450,000 court set bond.
