WEST HAVEN–Police have made an arrest after a car accident left one person injured.
A vehicle attempted to evade police in the area of Main Street and First Avenue in West Haven on Friday night, and as it fled it crashed into a telephone pole and another car.
The driver of the second car sustained serious injuries.
Mansa Bethea, 38, who was driving the evading car was taken into custody at the scene and charged with be charged with Attempted Assault on Police, Reckless Driving, Failure to obey an Officer, and numerous motor vehicle charges.
