HARTFORD - He's credited with turning around The Hartford Insurance company after the financial collapse of 2008. Friday, Liam McGee was also remembered for what he gave the community.
"Besides the success of The Hartford, what he really cared about was teammates and how they cared for one another and how they gave back to the community. That's why this dedication and bringing all of you together means a lot to us," Lori said.
Mayor Pedro Segerra and Gov. Malloy both spoke about their working relationship with the late insurance executive.
