HARTFORD – The Connecticut chapter of the National Alliance of Mental Illness staged it’s annual 5 kilometer walk at Bushnell Park Saturday morning, raising approximately $150,000.
“When it rains, we shine,” said Kate Mattias, Executive Director of NAMI CT.
More than 130 teams signed up for the event, which raises money for and awareness pf mental health programs and services available statewide. Donations will be collected for another month. If you wish to donate, or learn more about NAMI, click here.
