NORWALK–A man has been arrested in connection to the death of his 5-month-old son.
On May 16, 2014 police responded to an apartment on Ely Avenue on reports that a baby wasn’t breathing. First responders tried to resuscitate the baby, but he was pronounced dead.
The Special Victims Unit and Crime Scene Unit responded to investigate the baby’s untimely death, and found that it was suspicious in nature.
Multiple interviews and evidence gathered at the scene, as well as the results of autopsy and toxicology reports that were completed in March 2015 indicated that the baby had an elevated blood alcohol content at his time of death.
Bond was set at $75,000.
