SUFFIELD – The Suffield Police Department is investigating an accident involving a school bus and a mail truck that occurred around 3 p.m. Wednesday.
There were no students on board the bus and there were reports of minor injuries, according to police.
The crash occurred down the street from the police station on Mountain Road near Sheldon Street.
The Suffield Schools Superintendent office says the bus involved is not from Suffield.
Police are investigating the cause of the crash. The road was closed for some time but has since reopened.
