OLD SAYBROOK – One man is under arrest after a fight over loud music led to a stabbing.

Police said around 2 a.m. Friday, contractors staying at a home they were renovating on Beach Road West, got into an argument over the music. The victim claims the suspect, Francisco (Frank) Sanabria, was playing his music too loud. A fight broke out and the victim was stabbed and called police.

Officers found and arrested Sanabria, 54, of New Britain, nearby. Police said the victim was taken to Yale-New Haven Hospital with non-life threatening injuries to his stomach, chest and hand.

Sanabria was charged with assault and disorderly conduct and held on $50,000 bond. He appeared in Middletown court Friday, and his bond was raised to $65,000. His case was continued to June 26.
