HARTFORD — In honor of National Egg Day McDonald’s is selling its egg McMuffins for 63 cents Wednesday (6/3).
There is a limit to four per customer and the deal is only available during breakfast hours. McDonald’s restaurants in Connecticut and Western Massachusetts are participating, except for McDonald’s locations in Fairfield County.
The Egg McMuffin was created in 1972 by Herb Peterson, a McDonald’s operator from Santa Barbara, California.
An egg McMuffin is an estimated 300 calories.
