NEWINGTON – The left lane of the Berlin Turnpike northbound in Newington is open after an accident where a motor vehicle hit a pole at Kitts Lane a little after 9 p.m. Sunday.
One person was extracted from the vehicle.
Police and Fire departments responded to the scene.
The local power company is now working to repair the pole.
