STAMFORD – The body of a missing 24-year-old man, Paulino Mendoza, was found early Sunday afternoon.
According to Stamford Police, his body was found next to the boat docks at Cove Island Park.
It appeared that the victim had been submerged some time, making the cause of death difficult to determine. An autopsy will be performed on Monday.
Mendoza had been reported missing by his family on December 28, after he didn’t return home for four days. Relatives said Mendoza was out with friends and was last seen in the area of Willowbrook and Cove roads on Christmas Eve.
