NORTH HAVEN - North Haven came together as a community Sunday to remember a young man who was killed by a drunk driver last year.

The first ever John Liquori 5K was held to remember 20-year-old John Liquori, who went for a jog in his neighborhood last July and was killed by a drunk driver.

The Liquori family says the year has been a blur of grieving and going to court. Tp pay tribute to John, North Haven High opened its athletic field for a 5K fundraiser.

Money raised will go to scholarships, therapy dog programs - because Liquori loved animals - and other causes that Liquori liked.
