HARTFORD - A concert took place Sunday night to benefit the Nepalese community after that catastrophic earthquake in April.
The quake and aftershocks killed over 8,500 and destroyed hundreds of thousands of homes.
The country wants to rebuild and needs help to do that.
The Hartford Symphony Orchestra musicians realized that their way to contribute was through their music, and they hope others will give to help Nepal.
The concert raised more than $3,600 that will go to Unicef's relief efforts.
