Hartford man shot in leg, goes home to change before heading to hospital: Police

HARTFORD – Police said a man was shot after an argument and went home to change clothes before being taken to the hospital by a family member.

Police said the unidentified man was shot in the area of Oakland Terrace and Greenfield Street around 1:50 a.m.

The victim said he was approached by two men and got into an argument, according to police. The victim was then shot in the right thigh.

Police said the victim went home and changed his clothes before his mother drove him to Saint Francis Hospital.

The victim did not suffer life threatening wounds according to police.
