HARTFORD – Many state landmarks, galleries and destinations are offering reduced rates for the 11th annual Connecticut Open House Day on Saturday.

Museums like the Connecticut Historical Society are offering discounted or free admission. Galleries have special events and offers for the day, like the Lance Glass Gallery in Ashford which is offering a discount on purchases, and the Black Rock Gallery in Bridgeport is offering appraisals by world-renowned appraiser Kenneth Linsner from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. The Atwood Farm Museum in Mansfield will offer free admission from noon to 4 p.m.

The annual event is coordinated by the Connecticut Office of Tourism.
