Ansonia valedictorian speaks about struggle to learn English and succeed

ANSONIA–Graduation is always a time to celebrate, but for one valedictorian it’s the culmination of a long ride.

Pablo Suarez, 17, prepared a speech for his high school graduation on Thursday night.

Suarez is exceptional because he just moved to the United States six years ago and didn’t speak English. Now, he graduated with a 4.0 and the opportunity to go to his dream school: Yale.
