WINDSOR LOCKS--Some history landed in Windsor Locks on Friday.
A Curtis Helldiver and a B-29 Superfortress, both World War II aircraft, were put on display at Bradley International Airport.
The B-29 is the only one of its kind in the world still flying. The Helldiver was used by the Navy as a dive bomber in the Pacific during the war.
"Our museum keeps a living history of these airplanes and we want to keep them flying just so people do remember all the sacrifices our people made in World War II," said Mark Allen, a pilot of the Helldiver.
The airplanes will remain on display throughout the weekend, and rides will be given on Saturday and Sunday morning.
