HARTFORD -- A bear was on the loose in a Hartford neighborhood Sunday morning.
Hatford police said a bear was seen in a tree near Colebrook Street.
Officials from the Connecticut Department of Energy & Environmental Protection came to the scene to investigate.
Shortly after 11 a.m., police announced the bear was tranquilized and transported out of the city by DEEP officials.
