Ask the Attorney

Ask the Atty,

I was walking into my local convenience store when I tripped over the door stop going in. It was as in the process of being repaired and was raised a couple of inches.

There was no warning sign displayed and the fall broke my elbow.

The store owner told me I was just being clumsy.

What are the laws about this type of situation?
