WINTHROP, Mass.- Officials have released a new image of the unidentified little girl who washed ashore last month.
The Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office spokesperson Jake Wark said the updated image adds earrings in the child’s ears.
Massachusetts State Police are asking for the public’s help to identify a toddler-aged girl, whose body turned up on the western shore of Deer Island in Winthrop on June 25.
The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children created a computer-generated image of what the girl would look like in an effort to help police identify the girl. They say she was about 4 years old when she died.
In addition, police released images of her leggings, which were very distinct–they are white with black polka dots. She was also found with a black and white zebra-stripe blanket.
The girl is described as having brown hair and brown eyes, she weighed about 30 pounds and was about 3.5 feet tall.
