NEW LONDON / NORWICH – On Friday, detectives from the Statewide Narcotics Task Force, and Norwich and New London Police departments executed search warrants at 11 Orchard Street in Norwich and 115 Colman Street in New London, seizing 13 grams of crack cocaine, 13 grams of powder cocaine, 2 grams of heroin, and over $2,100 in cash, as well as items used for processing of the drugs for sale.

Arrested were Bryant Downs, 39, charged with possession of narcotics, possession of narcotics with intent to sell and operating a drug factory; Loraine Guess, 37, charged with possession of narcotics, possession of narcotics with intent to sell and operating a drug factory; and Elliot Coleman, 55, charged with two counts of possession of narcotics, possession of narcotics with intent to sell, possession of narcotics with intent to sell within 1,500 of a housing project, and operating a drug factory.

The group maintained the two separate locations for storage, processing and distribution of drugs within New London County, according to police.
