WINCHESTER – Police in Winchester are urging people to be on the lookout for suspicious activity in the Highland Lake Area.

Investigators are patrolling the area after eight cars were vandalized earlier this week. Police said the windows of vehicles were being smashed with blunt objects.

Police said this bout of vandalism likely occurred overnight, so, there are very few witnesses. All they know is a pickup truck was last seen speeding away from the area, but they’re not sure about the color, make or model.

Detectives are asking anyone with information to give them at a call at (860) 379-2721.
