MILFORD — A New Haven man is facing charges after police said he assaulted a child that he was caring for while working at a youth facility in Milford.
Aaron Virgo, 37, was arrested Thursday and charged with assault and risk of injury to a minor.
Virgo was an employee at Boys and Girls Village, a center that provides treatment, housing and education to at-risk youth and children with special education needs.
Police say the incident happened in January.
He was released on a promise to appear in court on August 11.
