Man shot multiple times in Hartford Saturday, shooter at large

HARTFORD —  A man was shot multiple times in Hartford Saturday night and the shooter is still on the loose, police said.

Tequan Vail, 25, of Windsor, was shot around 8 p.m. near 2006 Main Street.

When police arrived, the man came outside saying he was shot. Officers rushed in looking for the active shooter.

No suspect was found.

The man was hospitalized and treated for multiple gun shot wounds, police said.

He is in stable condition.

The Shooting Task Force is continuing to investigate.
