BERLIN – The death of a teenager who was shot by a pellet gun has been ruled a homicide.
The Office of Chief Medical Examiner ruled the cause of death was a gunshot wound to the torso and the manner of death was a homicide.
The 15-year-old boy died Thursday after being shot by a pellet gun in Berlin four days earlier, police said.
The victim was shot by a 17-year-old.
Since the people involved are minors, police are not releasing their names.
Police continue to investigate the shooter and the incident but no charges against the 17-year-old have been announced.
No other information has been released.
