GLASTONBURY -- Business paused Thursday evening at the Monaco Ford dealership on New London Turnpike in Glastonbury.

The fourth-annual High Five Tour and Car Show to benefit Wounded Warriors Family Support took place. The event featured more than 50 vintage, classic and contemporary cars from enthusiasts across the state.

"I think it's a great way for people in the community to feel like they're helping," said Mike Monaco, general manager of the dealership and a Marine. "No matter what, we tend to forget because we live in such a great country that the war is still going on, so people are out there to help and once they leave here they know that they got to see a bunch of nice cars but they also get to know that they are helping people coming home still."

Organizers wished to thank everyone who made the event possible and say they're looking forward to an even bigger turnout next year.
