EAST WINDSOR – Police arrested one teenager and are looking for two more after they found them vandalizing East Windsor Middle School.

Police said they responded to the burglar alarm at the school around 1:20 a.m. and discovered three males running to the woods. Officers chased the trio and caught one. Police said they used a canine but were unable to find the others.

Caleb Newburry, 18 of Windsor, was charged with Burglary, Criminal Mischief, and Criminal Trespass.

Police said 27 metal drain covers were taken off the roof and thrown to the ground, damaging them. They said the suspects got into the school and damaged equipment as well. Police said the motive appears to be strictly vandalism, and there was no intent to steal any equipment.

Newburry is scheduled to appear in court on August 18.

Anyone with any information about the incident is asked to contact police department at 860-292-8240.
