HARTFORD - Sunday marks one year since the shooting death of Michael Brown, the unarmed black teen shot dead by a white Ferguson, Missouri police officer.
The incident sparked weeks of intense protests and a nationwide movement.
Officer Darren Wilson shot and killed Brown last year during an altercation.
Sunday, a moment of silence was held in Ferguson, marking the moment Brown was killed, and a march was led by Brown's father, from the spot he was killed to the Greater St. Mark's church.
