HARTFORD – A man was shot in Hartford early Sunday morning as he was heading to a party, police said.
Police responded to 96 Russ Street around 12:42 a.m. after receiving multiple 911 calls reporting a shooting.
Police found a man with gunshot wounds on his legs.
The victim told police he was going to 96 Russ Street for a party. When he was exiting his vehicle, two masked men approached him and started shooting, he told police.
The victim was transported to Hartford Hospital with non-life threating injuries. He is currently in stable condition.
