SOUTHINGTON – A teen was arrested on public indecency charges after police said he exposed himself repeatedly near a group of children.
On Monday at 6:37 p.m., Southington Police arrested Timothy Delaney,18 of Southington, and charged him with Public Indecency, Breach of Peace and Risk of Injury to a Minor.
Police were called to Panthorn Park on Burritt Street for reports that someone walked out from behind a privacy wall near the restroom several times and pulled his shorts down and expose and fondle his genitals.
Police said at the time there were 30 girls between 9 and 12-years-old girls practicing on the lacrosse field within 40 feet from the restrooms in addition to family members and other park goers nearby.
Delaney appeared in court Tuesday.
