HARTFORD - Mayor Pedro E. Segarra attended the Hartford Gun Buy Back, hosted by the Hartford Police Department, Mothers United Against Violence and the Hartford 100 Man Movement Saturday at the Johnson Stewart Community Center on Martin Street in Hartford.

Hartford has had 21 homicides in the city so far this year, compared to 19 homicides for all of last year.

Hartford police say anyone living in or outside the city of Hartford can participate in the gun buyback program and that those who bring in guns can remain anonymous.
