Route 77 in Guilford reopens after tractor trailer overturns

GUILFORD–Route 77 has reopened several hours after at tractor trailer overturned, crashing into a pole.

Around 4:30 a.m. on Friday the truck overturned into the pole near Racehill Road, knocking it over. The driver suffered only minor injuries.

Police said in an update at 11 a.m. that the road would remain closed for several more hours as workers tried to fix the pole. It reopened after noon.
