HARTFORD -- The 15th annual Camp Courant's 'Buddy Bash' annual fundraiser is set for Friday, September 18. McKinley Albert, Executive Director of Camp Courant stopped by Fox CT Monday morning to talk about the event.

You can learn more and buy tickets here.

Buddy Bash is Camp Courant's annual end of camp season celebration. Now in its 15th year, the Buddy Bash brings together donors, supporters, colleagues and friends to help raise funds so that Camp Courant can continue to provide a FREE summer experience for Hartford’s children.

Each year, the Buddy Bash has a different theme.  This year’s theme is ‘construction’ as Camp Courant will be breaking ground on a new pool and renovating the pool house prior to the 2016 Camp season. Come dressed to impress in your finest construction-themed garb and experience a fantastic evening of lavish hors d’oeuvres, delicious brews, great entertainment and exciting silent auction items. All food and beverages are donated.

Fox CT's own Jimmy Altman and Erika Arias will emcee the event.

Proceeds from the event support the general operations of Hartford’s Camp Courant, the oldest and largest FREE summer program in the country.  Since 1894, Hartford’s Camp Courant has provided a FREE summer experience for Hartford children that promotes positive youth development and healthy lifestyle choices through active learning and fun activities.

The event is open to the general public, and anyone is welcome to attend.  Tickets are $125.

It's Friday, September 18 from 6-10 p.m. at 96 Batterson Park Road in Farmington.
