WINDSOR LOCKS — A Cape Air passenger plane made an emergency landing at Bradley International Airport after declaring an emergency Wednesday morning.
The ten seat Cessna 402 aircraft, en route from Lebanon, New Hampshire to White Plains, New York, declared an emergency due to an engine problem according to airport officials. The plane landed safely in Windsor Locks.
A runway was closed for a short time but has since reopened.
The Cape Air maintence team will inspect the plane at Bradley to see what went wrong, according to a spokesperson for the company.
