Dr. Niamey Wilson from the Women’s Health Center At St. Francis Hospital joined the Fox CT Morning Extra to talk about breast cancer awareness in advance of the annual Pink Party.

The Pink Party is a “party with a purpose” in partnership with Komen Connecticut. Located in Blue Back Square in West Hartford, there will be live music, entertainment and activities for all ages.

Local breast cancer survivors will hit the pink runaway in a survivor fashion show outfitted in the latest fashions from nearby retailers, and modeling trendy hair and makeup looks provided by various Connecticut stylists.

Local food vendors, live music, raffle prizes, and SWAG bags stuffed with donated items ranging from gift cards, cosmetics, tasty treats and other goodies

Saint Francis has been involved with the Susan G. Komen Foundation for more than 20 years.
