BLOOMFIELD - The American Red Cross is helping a family in Bloomfield Sunday night after a fire on Blue Hills Avenue that happened in the afternoon.
The three-alarm fire traveled from the front porch area and traveled quickly into the attic.
Seven different fire departments were called in for mutual aid.
Two people were inside the home at the time but were able to get out safely.
