EAST HARTFORD — A little girl is in stable condition at Connecticut Children’s Medical Center with her mother after she fell out of a first-floor window of a three-story apartment building on Ginger Lane in East Hartford Wednesday morning.
Emergency crews were called to an apartment complex around 10:35 a.m. The girl, who police say is under two-years-old, was unresponsive.
The building is in a complex next to the old Showcase Cinema building.
The Juvenile Division of the East Hartford Police Department is investigating but no charges have been filed yet.
It is unclear if there were window guards on the window.
