HARTFORD -- Barbara Karsky and Karen Heber, owners of BK & Co.  join the Fox CT Morning News to talk about the Pink Party Fashion Show that they are coordinating.

The Annual Survivors Fashion Show includes over 30 models who are Breast Cancer Survivors. It's an uplifting, engaging way to empower survivors to feel beautiful again after their long battle with the disease. All fashions are from stores West Hartford Center and Blue Back Square and all the hair and makeup is also done by a local salon

Previously scheduled for Thursday, October 1, Pink Party will now take place Wednesday, October 7.

The Pink Party is a “party with a purpose” in partnership with Komen Connecticut. Located in Blue Back Square in West Hartford, there will be live music, entertainment and activities for all ages.

Local breast cancer survivors will hit the pink runaway in a survivor fashion show outfitted in the latest fashions from nearby retailers, and modeling trendy hair and makeup looks provided by various Connecticut stylists.

Local food vendors, live music, raffle prizes, and SWAG bags stuffed with donated items ranging from gift cards, cosmetics, tasty treats and other goodies

Saint Francis has been involved with the Susan G. Komen Foundation for more than 20 years.
