HAMDEN–Police are on alert after a racial slur was painted on a traffic box.
Around 8 a.m. Hamden Police responded to the area of Pine Rock Avenue and Woodin Street. Officers saw a racial slur spray painted on the traffic box.
The graffiti was photographed and then covered up.
