NORTH HAVEN — Police are investigating a stabbing at the All Saints Cemetery on Middletown Avenue Wednesday afternoon. Police say it happened during a family altercation during a funeral.

Police were called to the area around 11:40 a.m.

During a funeral, a group of people started arguing, and it got physical. One person was stabbed, and he was taken to the hospital with injuries that aren’t considered life-threatening.

Police say Robert Ferrie, 54, of Meriden, stabbed the victim fled into the back of a limousine, which was stopped at the entrance to the cemetery.

Ferrie was charged with assault in the first degree, reckless endangerment and breach of peace. He was held on a $150,000 bond and is set to appear in court on Thursday.
