He’s trained, housebroken, and he’s a great dog who loves people, what you would call a “velco dog.”
Rocky’s a bit arthritic, and has a degenerative spinal issue, common with old dogs. His legs work fine, but the “messages” don’t get from his brain to his legs, so sometimes the legs drag.
Rocky doesn’t need the cart all the time, but we use it for longer walks to protect his back legs, and to “practice” for the possible need to use it more in his future
He gets along with everyone, kids, cats, and other dogs. His former owners had their home foreclosed. All other animals found homes except Rocky, and he was surrendered to animal control.
Rocky also has dry eyes, resulting from an eyelid issue that we had surgically corrected.
He just needs a home with someone who’s not deterred by these conditions, which are basically common with older dogs.
