NEWINGTON — The Town Hall building will be closed Monday due to issues with the heat.

Officials said the inside temperatures of the building at 131 Cedar St. was below an acceptable level for staff and members of the public.

Paul Boutot, Temporary Acting Town Manager, said Town Hall employees that work directly in the town hall should not to report to work. Board of Education, Office of the Superintendent and Central Connecticut Health District employees should check with their supervisors for further information.
