WOODBURY  — Authorities say a Woodbury man and three teenagers have been arrested after an 18-year-old girl ate a marijuana-laced cookie and became sick.

The student fell ill on Friday at Nonnewaug High School in Woodbury and was taken to Waterbury Hospital.

Police say officers found more than two pounds of marijuana, two small explosive devices, dozens of guns, drug paraphernalia and more than $7,000 in cash at the home of 49-year-old Ronald Hoyt, of Woodbury.

Hoyt faces several drug charges and illegal possession of explosives.

He was released on a $10,000 bond and is due in court on Nov. 12.

Three 17-year-old boys are also facing drug charges. They are due in Torrington Juvenile Court on Nov. 15.
