North Haven student approached by unknown man: Police

NORTH HAVEN – Police are investigating after a middle school student said she was approached by a man while waiting to go to school.

Police said the incident happened on Marlborough Road near Homewood Avenue when a North Haven Middle School student told them she was approached by a man while waiting to go to school. She said she was startled when he came towards her and she ran to a family member’s home.

Police said the man was either white or Hispanic male with facial stubble, approximately 30 years old, wearing camouflage pants and a grey shirt.

The School Resource Officer and Detectives are actively investigating.
