State Police searching for suspect in child porn case

HARTFORD–Police are asking for the public’s help in finding a suspect in a child pornography case.

Tyle Kozak, 21, of Hartford, is wanted for possession of child pornography and promoting a minor in an obscene performance. A warrant was issued for his arrest on September 9, but police have not yet located him.

Tyler Kozak 2On April 23, detectives from the State Police Computer Crimes Unit and the Hartford Police Department executed a search warrant on a South Street home after an investigation into child pornography that began when police received a tip that Kozak had shared a link to pornographic pictures and/or videos of children.

Laptops, memory devices, a cell phone, a tablet and an 8mm tape were seized from Kozak’s home, and an analysis of the items showed numerous images and videos of child pornography.

Police say that Kozak also goes by the name Tyler Elster-Kozak.
