WEST HAVEN - Odds are, if you're from the West Haven area, you've stopped by Chick's Drive-In on Beach Street.
Chick's has been on the shore since 1950 and is famous for its hot dogs, lobster rolls and seafood.
When the owner died this summer, he told his children that he wanted his business closed when he died.
The drive-in's final day is set to be November 15, after 65 years in business.
Local residents say the drive-in will be missed.
There is no word on what the property will be used for when it closes.
