KILLINGLY–Police have made an arrest for the sexual assault of a minor after a lengthy investigation.
On July 2, 2014, the State Police Eastern District Major Crimes unit started an investigation after reports that a 14-year-old girl had been sexually assaulted.
Police identified the suspect as Joshua Chaffee, 40, of Killingly.
On October 29 Chaffee was arrested at the State-Line Campgrounds.
He was charged with sexual assault in the second degree and risk of injury to a minor. He is being held on a $10,000 bond.
