It's that time of year again: daylight saving time.

As the days get shorter, some people begin to suffer from a condition known as seasonal affective disorder.

The clocks "fall back" this Sunday, and the extended darkness takes a real toll on the body, especially for those prone to depression.

Dr. Craig Allen, of the Rushford Center in Middletown, spoke to FOX 61 about the disorder, but noted that it's a northern issue: those who live within 30 degrees of equator are much less prone to fall into a seasonal depression.
