HARTFORD — Police chased and captured a bank robbery suspect Monday morning.
Hartford police said Eric Jimenez, 35, was taken into custody after a brief vehicle pursuit and food chase that ended near Capitol Avenue and Laurel Street under I-84.
The robbery occurred on November 8 at the People’s United Bank on 290 Franklin Ave.
He handed the same teller another note that said, “I have a gun and a bomb, give me money.”
The teller gave the money from her drawer to the suspect, who shoved the money in his pockets and left the bank. Police say the suspect got away with $3,160.
