Police issue alert after Stonington mother hasn’t been seen since Thursday

STONINGTON — State Police have issued a Silver Alert for Christine McGugan, 48, of Stonington. She hasn’t been seen since Thursday, November 12.

Her family says she is a mother of three, about 5’4” and weighs about 110 lbs.

McGugan has red hair. When she was last seen on Thursday she was wearing a gray sweater and black tights.

Police say she may have been driving a green 2003 Chevy Tahoe with Connecticut license plate 719 SBV.

Anyone with any information is asked to call the Stonington police department at 860 599–4411.

Silver Alerts are issued by law enforcement agencies for missing people of all ages. Amber Alerts are issued for children who are believed to be in danger.
