WATERBURY–Police have made an arrest in an early morning homicide that occurred last month.

On October 17 around 1:30 a.m. a man was shot in the stomach in the parking lot of the Barley Corn Cafe, located at 92 Store Ave. At the time, police said it wasn’t clear why the victim was shot.

The victim was identified as Anthony Crespo.

On Friday, Waterbury police, with the help of the New Haven Police Department Parole and Probation division, arrested Rickie Knox, 35, of New Haven.

Knox was charged with reckless endangerment in the first degree, murder, criminal possession of a firearm, criminal use of a firearm and sale/delivery/transfer of a pistol. He is being held on $1 million bond.
